After several discussions with my own coach, it recently became clear to me that my executive coaching business focuses on three primary areas – all related to career development. These areas include helping managers and executives to upgrade their current job performance, secure a job promotion, and plan and navigate a career transition.

Plan and Navigate a Transition

The third pillar of my career development focus lies in planning and navigating a transition. Please examine the last set of questions and also decide if you would say ‘yes’ to any of them.

  • Are you dissatisfied with your current job?
  • Do you suspect that you are not well matched for your current job or workplace culture?
  • Do you often consider leaving your current job?
  • Have you recently been promoted to a management or executive position?

Staying in a job you dislike or have outgrown and believing that this is okay is not only sad but also unacceptable! Life is too short to fear change and risk.  Remember:   you don’t have to figure out it on your own.
